Setting Up Gravatar To Show Your Own Personal Picture On Any WordPress Site You Comment On

Tired of the ugly avatars used on WordPress blogs? Well here is an easy fix to change the avatar that appears each time you comment. The site is called Gavatar and it uses your email to upload the picture of your choosing each time you post a comment on a WordPress site. The best thing about this is there is no plugin required and your new picture shows up when you comment on other WordPress blogs! Follow the step below to correctly set up Gavatar and get rid of those ugly avatars.

Setting up Gravatar!

  1. Visit Gravtar
  2. If you already have a WordPress.com account click on WordPress.com Sign in (top right corner). If you have not registered with WordPress.com click “create your own Gavatar” in the middle of the page.
  3. Either sign in to your WordPress.com account or fill out the required information to create one.
  4. Once you have created an account or signed in, click on “add photo here”
  5. You can either upload a picture from your computer, use a picture already on the internet, use your webcam to take a picture, or search recently uploaded photos.
  6. Once you have uploaded your picture from one of the four options you are all set!

From now on when you post a comment and use the email you signed in with your uploaded picture will appear!
